History

1960’s

The Firm is founded as Battalia and Associates and takes leading role in the Association of Executive Search consultants (AESC) which sets standards for the emerging executive search industry.

1970’s

Battalia and Associates opens a Chicago office and expands to meet demand of Midwest clients.

1980’s            

The Firm expands internationally by developing partnerships in major industrial and financial centers around the world.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary Dale Winston joins Bill Battalia as a partner thus accelerating the growth of the firm.

1990’s            

Geographical expansion leads the firm to open offices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and California.

With a growth rate of 50%, the firm is named the fastest growing executive search firm nationally by Executive Recruiter News and locally by Crain’s NY Business.

The Firm creates two new search processes—“Zero based Search” and “Consensus based Search”.

The Firm marks 10 years of inclusion on ERN’s list of “50 leading” executive search firms.

Bill Battalia, Dale Winston and Rick Linde are featured in The New Career Makers by John Sibbald.

2000’s            

Battalia Winston celebrates 20 years of offering its Executive Issues Seminar Series.

A Silicon Valley office is opened.

Battalia Winston International is designated as the largest female owned search firm in the US.   

In partnership with the Graduate School of Business at Northeastern University a study of the composition of corporate boards is conducted and published.
