Richard Linde joined Battalia Winston International in 1994, having begun his search career in 1987 with Russell Reynolds Associates.  Rick leads the Media Practice at Battalia Winston.  His clients range from many of the best known firms in the industry including Walt Disney, News Corporation and Sony, to venture-backed start-ups 

His practice focuses on senior-level positions in virtually all functional areas, although much of his work is to find executives with digital experience, as a result of the huge growth in that market.  Rick was named one of America’s top executive recruiters in The Career Makers, a nationally recognized book based on a nationwide survey of search clients and peers in the industry..

Rick grew up in Ohio and is an honors graduate of Tufts University.  After earning an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, he worked in brand management for Pepsi-Cola and Nabisco Brands before embarking on a career in recruiting.

Rick lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.  He coaches his daughter’s soccer team and has completed three marathons.  He belongs to the Church of the Heavenly Rest, where he is a former Vestry member.
