Jo Bennett joined Amrop Battalia Winston in 1990. She previously spent two years as Managing Principal of another executive search firm. Prior to that, Jo headed up worldwide staffing and manpower planning for United Brands Company, a worldwide producer, marketer and shipper of foods and plastics. She analyzed the structures of subsidiaries in Europe, North America and Central America and recommended changes to support the business strategies.

Earlier in her career, Jo was Manager of Employment and Corporate Communications for Tetley Inc., a manufacturer of tea and coffee products and Head of Employment and Employee Relations at the New York Headquarters of Mitsubishi International Corporation.

Jo’s executive search expertise is in conducting senior level executive search assignments for a broad cross-section of areas in professional services, financial services and not-for-profit organizations. Her clients have included insurance companies, banks, consulting firms and associations. In 2009 Jo was elected to the Americas Council of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).

A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Jo is a graduate of Duke University. She is active in community organizations in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn and also has served as Chairperson of the New York Chapter of The American Red Cross.
