David R. Mather joined the Silicon Valley office of Amrop Battalia Winston  as a Partner in May, 2006. With more than 20 years in executive search, David specializes in CEO, senior-level executive and board searches worldwide and has placed over 350 executives in technology, professional services and Industrial products companies.

Before joining Amrop Battalia Winston , David was a Senior Partner at Cornell International where his clients ranged from early-stage companies to industry-dominating Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining Cornell International David was a Managing Director in the Technology & Venture Practice for Christian & Timbers where he also led many Asia/International searches.

Prior to entering executive search, David served as the Director of Professional Staff Selection for Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was responsible for recruiting out of industry to develop the firm’s strategic consulting expertise in technology-related businesses. He also held senior-level human resources positions with Warner Communications, Sara Lee Corporation and Norton Simon. David spent his early career with the Ford Motor Company.

David holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
